Final samples for Spring Heatwave. Fashion fabrics for Spring/Summer, double cloth using a four block thread plan on 16 shaft table loom.
Selection of my final screen print samples. This collection is inspired by my great-grandmother’s 1935 Singer sewing machine. It also draws upon Victorian damask and interior fabric. As my first ever attempt at screen printing I am pretty pleased with the results, especially as all my fabric is hand dyed.
Second selection of textiles from Rust collection. These are a classic range of textiles that could be used in fashion or interiors. Again I am hoping to enter these into the Bradford competition in April.
Selection of the more experimental samples from my Rust Collection. Hoping to enter pieces into the Bradford Textiles Society competition in April. This is the first attempt at using an 8-frame table loom, pleased with the overall colour balance and the detail.
